Vegetation Removal

Dead, dying, and overgrown vegetation is the primary carrier of wildfire. We address it methodically in both Zone 0 and Zone 1.

Our crews remove brush, grass, weeds, dead shrubs, leaf litter, and combustible organic matter that creates fire pathways toward your structure. All removed material is hauled away — no piles left on site.

Tree & Shrub Management

The structure and spacing of trees and shrubs determines how fast a fire can move. UrbnTek creates strategic gaps and reduces fuel density to slow fire spread.

We limb trees to a minimum of 6 feet from the ground, create canopy separation, and thin shrub clusters to eliminate the continuous fuel mass that allows fires to accelerate.

Defensible Space Assessment

Know exactly where your property stands before fire season. Our certified specialists deliver a thorough, documented evaluation of your Zones 0 and 1.

Service 04

Ladder Fuel Reduction

Ladder fuels are the mid-height vegetation that allow a ground fire to climb into the tree canopy — turning a manageable brush fire into an unstoppable crown fire.

What Are Ladder Fuels?

Shrubs and branches that bridge the gap between ground-level fuel and tree canopy. When present, a surface fire can climb 30+ feet in seconds.

How We Eliminate Them

We remove mid-story shrubs, limb up larger trees to create vertical clearance, and ensure no continuous fuel connects ground level to canopy.

Fire stays on the ground where it moves slower. Crown fires are far more destructive and dramatically harder to defend against.
